A trainer for rehabilitation in an upright position. As the person moves their arms, every part of the simulator moves in sync and the legs make stepping movements. It can also be used at home.
Adult version with an electromechanical drive. A mechanical version without a motor is also available.
Indications
- Paresis or paralysis of the legs
- Recovery after brain or spinal cord injury or disease
- Hemiparesis, triparesis and tetraparesis
- Cerebral palsy and other movement disorders
Features
- Dynamic load on the musculoskeletal system
- Lowers the risk of osteoporosis
- Improves breathing and circulation
- Prevents loss of joint mobility
- Supports emotional wellbeing
Contraindications during exacerbation: contractures, osteoporosis, ossification, risk of orthostatic collapse, varicose veins, chronic blood pressure fluctuations.
How it works
A session works as on MetaGait, only without VR glasses. The handles and foot cups are linked, so the legs step as the arms move.
