And what unprecedented competition was held on that day as part of Seaside Startup Summit?

For the first time in the world, 6 people with disabilities stood on #MetaGait devices and, appearing in virtual reality, began competing against each other in the "MetaGait: First Cybersport Competition" " Skiing"․

What made the competition unprecedented?

First of its kind in cybersport for people with disabilities. Thanks to the innovative #MetaGait device, 6 of our players with disabilities, simulating walking, simultaneously found themselves in virtual reality, where their steps were synchronously transformed into skiing․

The result was a real competition with real winners and prizes.

What does it mean?

A new culture of cybersports for people with disabilities has started in Armenia on the shores of Sevan. Competitions and tournaments of #MetaGait devices around the world, which, most importantly, will have a positive impact on the rehabilitation treatment of people with disabilities and create new opportunities for them.

The wave of excitement started as a result of this competition will be long lasting and contagious.
